The best place for a dream wedding
Since 2010 homosexual couples can legally secure their partnership. But is there a better place to enter into a marriage than in Vienna? Nowhere else there are so many extraordinary locations for a perfect wedding at one`s disposal.
You can choose between classic or imperial style in one of the Imperial Residences, or in Schönbrunn palace or, still better, in a private wagon on the Viennese Prater-Giant Wheel. Who prefers a modest way, can contract a marriage at civil registry office.
The entry is possible for every full-aged Austrian and foreign homosexual. The following documents are required: certificate of birth, verification of citizenship, for the foreign guests – evidence of residence, besides you must produce evidence of civil status. When your German knowledge is not sufficient, an interpreter must be called in. Registration for the establishment of a registered partnership must be conducted 6 months before the appointed day at the earliest.
