We offer our guests parking places in garages in the close vicinity to the hotel. Costs 20,- per calendar day. The entry cards and the address will be given to you while checking in.
You also can choose the possibility to acquire a hotel parking place with a 24 hours car park ticket. You can park with this card at designated parking places around hotel. Costs: € 15,- per calendar day
We also provide our guests with reduced tickets for the neighbouring public underground garage on Zimmermannplatz (within a 4 minutes` walk from the hotel). These tickets are available at the reception. Costs: € 20,- / 24 hours. (GPS coordinates:48.216814, 16.344201)
In case you drive into the garage, before you check in at the hotel, pay for a ticket at the entry. When leaving the garage, use at first the entry ticket at the barrier and then the reduced one from the hotel.
At the reception you can acquire tickets for short-term parking zones (€ 2.50 per hour). At weekends you can park for free in Vienna from Friday 7 o`clock p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays there is all-day free parking. On holidays you don`t need a car parking ticket either. There is no parking fee for single-track vehicles in the entire city. Between nightfall and daybreak you can park them in the patio.
In case you possess an international CERTIFICATE OF DISABILITY, you can park your car at any public parking place in Vienna, provided you affix the badge under the windscreen well visible for a controller.

You can park your bicycle in our inner courtyard for free.
Parking for buses:
Getting on and off in front of the hotel is possible at at any time. Buses can park for free in front of the hotel except during peak hours, i. e. from 7 a.m. till 9 a. M. and from 4 p. m. till 7 p. m. A free bus parking place (from 6 p.m. till 7 a.m.) is situated within a 3 minutes distance of the hotel. (First left traffic lane near Hernalser Gürtel 40). At weekends from Friday 7 p. m. till Monday 7 a. m. there is free bus parking in front of the hotel.

Right in front of the hotel there is a tram station line 44. After 5 stops of approx. 8 minutes you reach the inner city/Ringstraße (Schottentor/Universität stop). On foot you take the same route approx. 15 – 20 minutes. There is an underground station Alser Straße (U6) within 100 meters. You have a perfect connection with the public traffic network from there.
You can acquire single tickets for public means of transportation or Vienna Card at our hotel at any time. With a Vienna Card you use the public means of transportation in Vienna 72 hours. Apart from that you can get tickets for public means of transportation at any rail and underground stations and in the most “Tabaktrafiks”.
Our rich warm and cold breakfast buffet is from 6 till 10 a. m. every day ready for you. You can easily find it: As soon as you come into the ground floor you can smell the aroma of coffee and fresh house made Viennese cakes - you have found the right place.
The Brunnenmarkt/Yppenmarkt (Austria`s longest fruit and vegetable market) is situated in the close vicinity to the hotel. Or you just go along the Alserstraße in the direction of the inner city. There are various shops, banks, pharmacies etc.
In case you would wish to order a transfer at our hotel Costs: € 50,- per journey (Mercedes E-class) | € 69,- per journey (Mercedes Vito). Alternatively we suggest an airport bus, by which you arrive the Western Railway Station (Westbahnhof) only a few underground stations away from the hotel. Please do not take the Cat (City Airpot Train). It is relatively expensive and will bring you to the other end of the city.
You can have your laundry done by us. We also take care of cleaning and ironing for you (fee-based service).
More than that. There are IR booths, s Finnish sauna, a whirlpool in our exclusive Private Spa for you to relax and feel at ease on your holiday. Please reserve your desirable time at the reception desk.
Of course you can. By this means you can enjoy your departure day as well and have both hands free to write a card to your aunt. By the way there are cards at our souvenir cabinet. If you have booked directly, we`ll give you thanks in form of a late check out till 12h, of course along with some other advantages.
Your pet is not only allowed at our hotel but also welcomed and desired! He or she will be supplied with a blanket, a towel, a pendant, the famous Viennese „Gacksackerln“, food and water. Your favourite is on vacation after all! You can take large dogs along as well.
You can leave your four-legged friend in the room or, for instance, for the length of a concert at the reception desk. From carlin to mastiff, a lot of dogs have supported us at the reception already.

In front of the opera (Opernring 3-5) a Shuttlebus leaves at 11 o`clock for the Outletcentre Parndorf. On Saturdays at 9 a.m. already. Departure - from 4 p.m. ½ hour interval.
At the Donauwalzer hotel we offer accessible rooms (incl. accessible showers). Please enquire after these rooms directly at the hotel while making your reservation. All areas and elevators can be easily accessed (with exception of the Spa area and the patio) and most rooms are also accessible for wheelchair users as well as the reception desk. Extra wide entrance door is situated on the Gürtel side.If you need to borrow a roll chair, you can do this nearby – at the Company Bständig.
