The streetcar takes you to Schottentor (= old town/center) in just a few minutes, the subway runs right in front of the hotel, as does the Gürtel cycle path. Nothing better could happen to you.

Directions to your hotel in Vienna FROM THE NORTH
A22 - exit Gürtel. Follow the Gürtel past the AKH (General Hospital of the City of Vienna) to the junction Alserstraße/Ottakringerstraße. The hotel is a large blue corner building on the right-hand side.
Directions to your hotel in Vienna FROM THE EAST
Coming from the A4, take the A23 (direction Salzburg/Linz). Take the Gürtel exit. Follow this until you reach the junction Alserstraße/Ottakringerstraße. Turn left and you will already see the BoutiqueHOTEL Donauwalzer.
First option
We are happy to arrange a limousine service from the airport to the hotel for you. A driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and will take you to the hotel quickly, comfortably, and safely in a discreet limousine. Please let us know at least 2 hours in advance.
Second option
The second option is by bus - a "Vienna Airport Lines" bus runs from the airport to "Wien Westbahnhof". From Westbahnhof just take the U6 and in 4 stops to "Alser Straße" (direction Floridsdorf) you are at the hotel. 100 m up the street and you have reached the BoutiqueHOTEL Donauwalzer. The VAL1 bus costs € 10.50 per person.
Third option
The third option is by train - the S7 express train runs from the airport into the city to the "Handelskai" station. There you change to the subway line U6 and get off at "Alser Straße" (direction Siebenhirten).
This is certainly the "cheapest" option - but also the longest and most strenuous. We recommend that you choose one of the other two options. Tickets for the express train are available from the ticket machines at the stations.
Fourth option
Please do NOT take the CAT. The station is at the other end of the city and the connection from there is suboptimal, unless of course you want to explore the public transport system with your luggage in hand
Arrival WESTBAHNHOF
U6 to Alserstraße station and then just 100 meters up the street to Hernalser Gürtel 27. And then off to the bar to quench your thirst after the journey!
Arrival at the main station:
Take one of the following lines S2 REX1 REX3 S3 or S4 to Handelskai, then take the U6 to Alserstraße station. Then just 100 meters up the street to Hernalser Gürtel 27 and finally to the bar to quench your thirst after the journey!
