Where is the best place to park at the hotel and how much does it cost?

We offer our guests garage parking approx. 300 meters from the hotel. Costs: € 28,- per night or until 12.00 noon on the day of departure. The exact address will be given to you at check-in.
Alternatively, we offer you the option of purchasing a hotel parking card or a day parking permit at the hotel. This allows you to park your vehicle in the designated parking spaces around the hotel. Costs: € 22,- per calendar day.

Alternatively, we also offer our guests discounted tickets for the nearby public underground parking garage at Zimmermannplatz. (approx. 4 minutes on foot). These tickets are available at the reception and cost € 28,- / 24 hours. Address: Zimmermannplatz 10, right next to the St. Anna Children's Hospital. If you drive into the garage before checking in at the hotel, buy a ticket. When leaving the garage, first use the entry ticket at the barrier and then the hotel's discount ticket.

You can also purchase tickets for short-term parking zones (€ 3 per hour) at reception. At weekends, parking in Vienna is free from 10 p.m. on Fridays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You do not need a parking ticket on public holidays either. Single-lane vehicles park free of charge throughout the city. You are welcome to park them overnight "with the bosses" in a locked courtyard.

If you have an international disabled pass, you can park your car in all public parking lots in Vienna if you display the pass clearly on the windshield.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the hotel accepts no liability for incorrectly parked cars or parking tickets. Please also always observe the internationally valid traffic signs and information signs, as there are individual regulations in some places.

Bicycles can be parked free of charge in our landscaped courtyard.

Parking for buses:

It is possible to get on and off the bus in front of the hotel at any time. Except during peak hours (weekdays from 7.00 to 9.00 a.m. and from 4.00 to 7.00 p.m.), buses can also be parked in front of the hotel. A bus parking lot (6 p.m. to 7 a.m.) is located approx. 3 minutes from the hotel. (First lane on the left at Hernalser Gürtel 40). At the weekend from Friday 7.00 pm to Monday 7.00 am the bus can park free of charge in front of the hotel.

What is the easiest way to get from the hotel to the city center?

The streetcar line 44 stops directly in front of the hotel and it is 5 stops or approx. 8 minutes to the city center/Ringstraße (Schottentor/Universiät station). On foot approx. 15 - 20 minutes. The subway station Alser Straße (U6) is approx. 200 meters from the hotel. There you have the perfect connection to the public transportation network in Vienna.

Where can I get tickets for public transportation?

You can purchase one-way tickets or the Vienna Card from us at the hotel at any time. With the Vienna Card you can use public transportation in Vienna for 72 hours. Otherwise, you can buy tickets for public transportation at all train/subway stations and at most tobacconists.

How long is reception open in the evening?

Our friendly reception team is at your disposal around the clock. Our bar is also open 24 hours a day.

When and where is breakfast served?

Our extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet is available from 6.00 am to 10.00 am and on weekends and public holidays from 6.00 am to 10.30 am. It's easy to find your way to the first floor, where the aroma of coffee and fresh, home-made Viennese pastries wafts through the air.

Where can I shop around the hotel?

The Brunnenmarkt/Yppenmarkt (Austria's longest fruit and vegetable market) is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Otherwise, simply walk along Alser Straße towards the city center. There are countless stores, banks, pharmacies etc.

Is there free W-LAN in the hotel?

W-LAN is available in all rooms and public areas and is included in the price for direct bookings.

What is the easiest way to get from the hotel to the airport?

There are several options: The easiest way is by cab (cab rank directly in front of the exit). Alternatively, we recommend the airport bus. This will take you to Westbahnhof, which is only a few subway stations away from the hotel. The cheapest option is to use public transport: Express train S7 to Handelskai, then subway line U6 in the direction of Siebenhirten to Alserstraße station. From here, our hotel is only about 200 meters away.

Where can you eat well around the hotel?

Can I have my laundry cleaned at the hotel?

You are welcome to leave your laundry to us. We will do the washing and ironing for you. (Chargeable service)

Is there a sauna at BoutiqueHOTEL Donauwalzer?

More than that. In our exclusive Private SPA, you have an infrared cabin, a Finnish sauna and a whirlpool at your disposal. So that you can relax perfectly even on vacation. Please reserve your preferred time at reception.

Can I leave my suitcases at the hotel after check-out?

Of course you can. So you can also enjoy your departure day in Vienna perfectly and have both hands free to write a card to your dear aunt. The cards are available from our souvenir display case. If you have booked directly, we will thank you - in addition to the other benefits - with a late check-out until 12.00 noon.

Are dogs allowed? Can I take my dog with me?

Your pet is not only allowed, but also very welcome! He/she will be provided with his/her own blanket, towel, tag, the famous Viennese "Gackerlsackerln", food and water. After all, your darling is on vacation too! You are also welcome to bring large dogs with you.

You are also welcome to leave your four-legged friend in your room or, for example, at reception for the duration of a concert. From pugs to Great Danes - many dogs have already helped us with our reception work! Cost of our V.I.D (Very Important Dog) service: € 22,- per day.

What is the easiest way to get to the Outlet Center Parndorf?

From the hotel, take streetcar line 44 to Schottentor/Universität station. From there take the U2 to Karlsplatz and take the Opera exit. Opposite the Opera (Opernring 3-5) there is an hourly shuttle bus to the Outletcenter Parndorf from 11.00 am. Saturday already from 9.00 am. Return trips every ½ hour from 4.00 pm.

Are there wheelchair-accessible rooms at Boutique Hotel Donauwalzer?

At Boutique Hotel Donauwalzer we have barrier-free rooms (incl. shower). Please ask about availability when making your booking. With the exception of the Private SPA, all areas of the hotel are barrier-free. Even our reception is lowered for you and a separate entrance area (extra wide door) is located on the Gürtel side. If you would like to borrow a wheelchair, you can do so in the immediate vicinity of the hotel at the Bständig company.

What are the Viennese originals?

The VIENNA ORIGINALS (also) characterize our hotel: we have dedicated one room each to traditional Viennese businesses to bring you in front of the curtain. These rooms all have air conditioning*, rain showers, Bose sound machines, designer furniture and are specially decorated. You will love them!
