Another highlight of the year is Vienna Pride Week, which takes place every summer. The highlight is certainly the rainbow parade, which attracts thousands of participants and spectators to Vienna's Ringstrasse every year. The opening of the Pride Village takes place in front of Vienna City Hall. The Boylesque Festival is not only an absolute must for fetish fans. Once again, the crème de la crème of the boylesque/burlesque and queerlesque scene comes to Vienna to celebrate.
The Rosa Wiener Wiesen Fest is a little more hearty in the fall. All fans of traditional dirndls and crisp lederhosen will get their money's worth here. This festival takes place as part of the Vienna Wiesn and is one of the fixtures of the queer scene.
