Where can I park around hotel and how much does it cost?

We offer our guests parking places in garages in the close vicinity to the hotel.
They cost 20.- per calendar day. The entry cards and the address will be given to you while checking in.

You also can choose the possibility to acquire a hotel parking place with a 24 hours car park ticket. You can park with this card at designated parking places around hotel.
Costs: € 15,-- per calendar day (A deposit at the amount of € 50,-- is set . It is returned at departure by giving the hotel parking card back.)

We also provide our guests with reduced tickets for the neighbouring public underground garage on Zimmermannplatz (within a 4 minutes` walk from the hotel). These tickets are available at the reception. Costs: € 20,-- / 24 hours. (GPS coordinates:48.216814, 16.344201)

In case you drive into the garage, before you check in at the hotel, pay for a ticket at the entry. When leaving the garage, use at first the entry ticket at the barrier and then the reduced one from the hotel.

At the reception you can acquire tickets for short-term parking zones (€ 2.- per hour).

Parking in Vienna on the weekend is free from Friday 7 o`clock p.m. till Sunday. On holidays you don`t need a car park ticket as well. 

Single-track vehicles can park in the whole city for free.

In case you own an international certificate of disability, you can park your car at any public parking place in Vienna, provided you put your certificate viewable at the front window.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!! Please note that the hotel assumes no liability for parking violations and tickets.
Please pay regard to the internationally valid traffic signs, for there are different regulations in some places.

You can park your bicycle in our inner courtyard for free.

Parking for buses

Getting on and off in front of the hotel is possible at all hours.
Buses can park for free in front of the hotel except during peak hours, i. e. from 7 a.m. till 9 a. M. and from 4 p. m. till 7 p. m.

A free bus parking place (from 6 p.m. till 7 a.m.) is situated within a 3 minutes distance of the hotel. (first left traffic lane Höhe Währinger Gürtel 25-33) GPS coordinates: 48.221503, 16.343429

At weekends from Friday 7 p. m. till Monday 7 a. m. buses can park for free in front of the hotel.

How can I get to the centre as easy as possible?

Right in front of the hotel there is a station of the tram line 44. After 5 stops of approx. 8 minutes you reach the inner city/Ringstraße (Schottentor/Universität stop). On foot you take the same route approx. 15 – 20 minutes.

There is an underground station Alser Straße (U6) within 100 meters. You have a perfect connection with a public traffic network from there.

Where do I get tickets for public means of transportation?

You can acquire single tickets for public means of transportation or Vienna Card at our hotel at any time.
With a Vienna Card you use the public means of transportation 72 hours in Vienna.

Apart from that you can get tickets for public means of transportation at any rail and underground stations and in the most Tabaktrafiks.

How long is the reception occupied in the evening?

Our friendly receptionist team is twenty-four seven at your disposal.

When and where there is breakfast?

Our rich warm and cold breakfast buffet is from 7 till 10 a. m. every day ready for you.

You can easily find it: As soon as you come into the ground floor you can smell the aroma of coffee and fresh house made Viennese cakes - you have found the right place.

Where can I go shopping around hotel?

The Brunnenmarkt/Yppenplatz (Austria`s longest fruit and vegetable market) is situated in the close vicinity to the hotel. Or you just go along the Alserstraße in the direction of the inner city. There are various shops, banks, pharmacies etc.

Is there a free WLAN in hotel?

WLAN is available in every public area of the hotel and if you book immediately through the hotel it is free.

Which is the easiest way to arrive at hotel from the airport?

Where can I eat around hotel?

Here you can find all the restaurants in the vicinity.

Can I have my laundry done in hotel?

You can have your laundry done by us. We also take care of cleaning and ironing for you (fee-based service).



Is there a sauna in hotel?

More than that. There are IR booths, s Finnish sauna, a whirlpool in our exclusive Private Spa for you to relax and feel at ease on your holiday.

Can I deposit my case after a check out in hotel?

Of course you can. By this means you can enjoy your departure day as well and have both hands free to write a card to your aunt.

Are dogs allowed? Can I take my dog along?

Your pet is not only allowed at our hotel but also welcomed and desired! He or she will be supplied with a blanket, a towel, a pendant, the famous Viennese „Gacksackerln“, food and water.

Your favourite is on vacation after all! You can take large dogs along as well, finally, we also own two large Newfoundland dogs, which expect some strokes in our inner courtyard close to gold fish in summer. Pay attention though, once you have started, you must not cease too soon.

You can leave your four-legged friend in the room or, for instance, for the length of a concert at the reception. From carlin to mastiff, a lot of dogs have supported us at the reception already.

Which is the easiest way to the Outlet Center Parndorf?

From hotel by the tram line 44 till Schottentor/Universität station. There you take the underground line U2 till Karlsplatz and take the Oper exit.

In front of the opera (Opernring 3-5) a Shuttlebus leaves at 11 o`clock for the Outletcentre Parndorf. 

Are there are rooms accessible for roll chair users in hotel?

At the Donauwalzer hotel we offer accessible rooms with showers. While booking enquire after availability.

The public areas and elevators can be easily accessed (with exception of the Spa area) and mosts rooms are also accessible for roll chair users as well as the reception desk.
